インターンシップの面接に行ってきました。英語で仕事の面接を受けるのは初めてだったのでとても緊張してしまいましたが、伝えたいことは一応ひと通り伝えられたかなと思います。実際に聞かれた質問を振り返ってみます。
I was super nervous so I’m not sure about the details, but I share some information from my interview!!
1. Tell us about your self.
簡単な自己紹介です。自分の“present ＋past ＋future”について話すといいよ、と友達からアドバイスを受けていたので、留学前の仕事のことや将来の目標を話しました。趣味でブログを書いているという話もすると、興味を持ってもらえました。

2. Why do you want to work in our place?
その会社のことをしっかりリサーチして良いところや共感できるところを見つけます。そしてそれを、自分の経験や、これから身に付けたいスキルと結び付けます。具体的に答えることが大事です！
I talked about their dynamic environment as a start-up phase. Then they asked “why” in detail. So, you always need to ask yourself “why why why” while preparing for the interview. It helps you organize your thoughts.
3. Why this position?
学校のマネジメント全般について勉強したいから、と答えました（学校のマーケティングのポジションに応募しています） 。この質問は大学院で勉強している内容とどう結びつけるかが大切で、私の場合は、今は教室の「中」のことを勉強しているけど、良い学習環境を作るためには教室の「外」のことも知っておく必要があるから、と話しました。
I think your answer should be connected with what you are currently studying!!
4. Tell us 3 strengths of yours.
自信を持って、私は〇〇な人です！と言い切りましょう！言い切ることが大切です。私は”I am a creative person.”とか言いました！日本語の面接だと、こんなにはっきり言うのは少なくとも私は無理です。。。
Just be confident!! and please remember, you always need specific examples to show your strength!!
5. Your weakness, and how can this internship help you improve it?
自分の短所を答える問題です。私の場合は、自分の短所とこのインターンシップをつなげて考えるということをしていなかったので少し焦りました。
6. Something that you could have done better.
過去の失敗に対する客観的な分析と、それに対して自分がどう取り組んだか、ですね。
You talk about your objective analysis about your past experience, but you could also show the positive aspect, which says you at least “tried” something new!
7. How would you approach if you don’t agree with your co-workers?
なぜ反対するのかをはっきりと説明して解決策を話し合うと言いました。めっちゃ普通な答えですが、正解はあるのかな、、、？
My answer was commonplace…Is there the “best” answer?
ということで今日は中途半端に英語も織り交ぜて書いてみました。笑
来週には結果が来るみたいなので、それについてもまた書きます！
